Within
the next few years new Environmental Directives RoHS,
WEEE and EuP will be implemented in all EU Member
States.
The
RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) severely
limits the amounts of 6 substances within your product. The
deadline for compliance with the RoHS Directive is July
2006.
The
WEEE Directive (Waste Electronic and Electrical
Equipment) obligates producers to pay for the collection and
recycling of their products when they are disposed of. The
deadline for compliance with the WEEE Directive is January
2006 in the UK.

The EuP Directive (Energy Using Products) is due
for introduction in 2006 and will require producers to reduce
the environmental impact throughout the life cycle of their
products.
